Jim Harbaugh the head Coach of the Michigan Wolverines, one of the best schools in the Big Ten conference, ended the season 10-3 not including their 2016 Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl Victory. He Defeated the Florida Gators with a dominant score of 41-7. This legendary head coach will be heading down to our turf field here at Bob Jones to throw a football camp for all athletes in Alabama willing to pursue their D1 football dreams.

The camp will begin June 6 from 9a.m. until noon. The requirements are simple bring your own helmet as well as a fee of $25. The camp focuses on individual skills and techniques to enhance athletic abilities on the field. Bob Jones head coach Kevin Rose commented on the historic football visit “To have a storied program like Michigan come to your campus and have kids be able to work one-on-one with their coaches, it’s all positive for Bob Jones High School. It’s not everyday Michigan comes to your campus. We’re excited.” I also spoke to 2017 running back Brad Anderson and some of his teammates, and it’s clear Rose is not the only one thrilled for the camp to start. Finishing off the season with 1,800+ all purpose yards Anderson says he will have a lot to bring to not only the camp but as well as the upcoming season.

This camp brings is a testament to the talent coming from the 2017 Bob Jones class. For a top level D1 football coach to come to our school just shows how bright the future is for Bob Jones (and James Clemens) football.
