BJ Softball Beats JC While Raising Awareness

On Tuesday, September 28, the Bob Jones Softball team played against James Clemens while raising awareness for breast cancer. Before the game, all of the girls held a balloon in memory of a close one who has or had Breast Cancer, said a prayer, and then released the balloons into the air.

The whole game was tight from the beginning to the end. At the bottom of the 7th, it was 6-7 and JC was in the lead. Emma Jarrett, a sophomore on the varsity team, was up to bat. While the bases were loaded, she hit the ball over the center fielder’s head, brought two people in, and made the score 8-7.
