Come to the Spring Art Show!

Savannah Plume, Writer

Tonight the students of Bob Jones High School will have their art on display between 4:30pm to 7:00pm. Not only will various pieces of art be on display, but works written by the Writing Club will also be shown as well. Drumline and winter guard will also perform.

Robin Lakso, one of the art teachers, expressed her students hard work as they set up for the festival, “It’s a combination of years of dedication, determination, and creativity.”

Leader of the Writing Club Casey Kula stated, “Everything can be included as an art form, there is singing, band, and drawing. Writing can be considered its own art type.”

This is a great opportunity to see the talent that our fellow students have to offer as well as a glimpse into the different art classes at Bob Jones.

Sarah Lovelady explained what it means to have a piece of art put on display, “I never thought I could do something like that, so being put on display is really cool.”

Every piece that is up on display holds the emotion and dedication of a Bob Jones’ student and his or her teacher. This is a special event for our art students, and it would mean a lot for them to share their art with the rest of Bob Jones.
