Spectral Activities for the Halloween Season
October 19, 2020
Throughout these trying times, we still want to have fun. But, in a safe way. We want things to keep us entertained, and we still want to create good memories. So, why not start with celebrating the Halloween season? There are many things that you and your family can do to make Halloween feel like Halloween, even if you choose to avoid trick-or-treating, haunted houses, corn mazes, and costume parties.
Watch A Movie or TV show
Start celebrating the ghastly season by watching a scary movie of your choice. It is something like It, Halloween, or Scream. It doesn’t even have to be a super scary movie. It could be Hocus Pocus, Casper, The Addams Family, or Halloween Town. Or you could watch a Halloween special from a tv show. On Halloween night, you could whip out candy and popcorn to go along with the movie you watch.
Make Halloween Decorations
Make Halloween decorations to put around the house, even put them in your room or on the front porch/front door. You could carve a pumpkin or make paper ghosts. You could also print Halloween-themed coloring pages from home. Click HERE.
Make Monster-Themed Snacks
Enjoy the season with snacks you created in the kitchen.
I think that the easiest snacks that you could create are mummy hotdogs, but you can choose anything from this website to enjoy during Halloween or anytime during October. You could eat these as a snack while watching a movie or a treat at the end of dinner. Click HERE for recipes.
Stay Safe and Have a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
