
It’s about to be Super Bowl Sunday, so you know what that means… FOOD. According to AdWeek, Americans will spend $1.02 billion dollars on Super Bowl snacks. Many Madison families will gather for the event, and whether they are rooting for the Ravens or the 49ers, many of these families will use this as an opportunity to eat something delicious. The Bob Jones faculty shared some of their favorite recipes for this event.

Rotel Dip
1 large container Velveeta cheese, cubed
1 can Rotel tomatoes
1 pound hot sausage, cooked and crumbled
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Heat in a crockpot on high for 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally. Serve with tortilla chips.
Mrs. Porter
Monterey Cheese Dip
1 block Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
1 block Pepper Jack cheese, shredded
1 small can black olives, chopped
1 small can green chilies, chopped
4-6 Roma tomatoes, diced
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1 cup Zesty Italian dressing
Mix together all ingredients. Judging by what consistency you would prefer the dip, more or less Zesty Italian dressing can be added. Serve with Mission/Tostitos chips.

CHIP DIP
Large block of velveeta sliced into ½ inch pieces
1 can Rotel Original hot tomatoes and peppers
Heat in microwave until melted.
Serve with Tortilla chips

Spicy Saltines
1 bag of Italian style meatballs
1 small jar of grape jelly
1 regular size bottle of BBQ Sauce
Throw it all in a crock pot, and let it go!

Easy Ranch Cheese Ball
8 oz. med. Cheddar cheese – shredded, room temperature
6 oz. cream cheese – room temperature
Ranch Dip Mix(mixed at double strength – ½ c. milk, ½ c. mayonnaise, dry ranch dressing mix)
Blend with mixer. Place in freezer for 20 minutes.
Form into a ball and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Serve with crackers, fritos, nachoes

Chuskey’s Cheese Dip
1 8 oz. container whipped cream cheese
1 c. salsa
1 c. shredded cheese
Spread the cream cheese evenly on the bottom of an 8×8 square or a 10-inch round glass baking dish. Spoon the salsa over the cream cheese. Then sprinkle the shredded cheese over the salsa layer. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 until the cheese is melty.
Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.
