Madison residents can drop off unused prescription drugs at the Madison Municipal Complex at 100 Hughes Road from 9:00 to 11:00 on Saturday, October 26.

The Madison Police Department will have a drive-thru drop off for convenience.

TakeBackDay.dea.gov states, “According to the 2018 National Survey on Drug Use and Health, 9.9 million Americans misused controlled prescription drugs. The study shows that a majority of abused prescription drugs were obtained from family and friends, often from the home medicine cabinet.”
