Madison Street Festival: Its Fall, Yall!

It’s finally fall, the cooler weather is starting to roll in, the trees’ leaves are starting to change to warm colors, but best of all, we have the Madison Street Festival! The community is excited for the festival’s return after it was canceled in recent years.

The festival will be huge this year. It will have a plethora of fun activities, like arts and crafts and all sorts of exhibits and demonstrations. There will also be live entertainment and a variety of local food vendors. This festival event is great for the whole family. There are many activities for every age group; there will even be a children’s tent for small children.

The festival kicks off with the Parade. After the Parade, feel free to walk around and check out activities such as the petting zoo, art galleries, and one of the most popular car shows in the area. This event really showcases why Madison really is a special place.

The festival will be held the first Saturday of October in historic downtown Madison, AL, which just happens to be this Saturday. The fun starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 4:00 PM.

Feel free to bring your pets with you to enjoy the fun. Some vendors only take cash, so be sure to bring some. If you forget, don’t worry, there will be ATMs. Parking will be an issue, so park at the Madison City Stadium on Celtic Drive or Crosspointe Church on Hughes Road, then ride the shuttle

Come on down to celebrate the beginning of yet another wonderful fall and support local businesses scattered around Madison and Huntsville. We hope to see you and your loved ones there this Saturday!
