AFJROTC Awards Day

Cadet Cameron Farr, Contributor

Recently, cadets arrived in the BJHS Cafeteria to set up for the fall semester Awards Program. Every freshman was awaiting this day so finally the upperclassmen couldn’t joke on them for not having ribbons.

Nervous cadets sat impatiently waiting to see if their name would be called for an award.  Alas, all cadets were recognized for their accomplishments this semester, to include academics, physical fitness, and dress and appearance (wear of the AFJROTC uniform).

The cadet corps cadre provided dinner afterward and cadets were able to socialize with other cadets about their new awards and ribbons. Thanks to Mrs. Titia James and a couple of other volunteer parents for serving a delicious meal to all present. On behalf of the Bob Jones AFJROTC, we would like to thank everyone that came out and especially Major Lacey, Chief Clark, and Mrs. James for making this all possible.
