Bob Jones JROTC Archery Competition

On Friday, February 4th, the Bob Jones Civilian and JROTC Archery team competed in their first National Archery in the Schools Program tournament this year. The competition was in Guntersville, and both the official JROTC team and the Bob Jones civilian teams competed.

Receiving a combined score of 2905 points, the team ranked 6th against 8 other high schools.

Their highest scoring shooter is freshman Hayden Chance with 14 tens and a total score of 286 points.

Students prepare for archery competitions by practicing at 6:00 am on Fridays and Mondays in the band room, and the team is led by Chief Ellis Clark.
