BJ Volleyball Runner Up at State

Our Bob Jones volleyball team is the runner-up in the 2022 state championship. The team, led by Coach Jenny Jarrett, was cheered on by buses of Bob Jones students and made Bob Jones proud.

The BJ volleyball team was up early in the first set, but after the McGill-Toolen timeout, they lost the first set 25-18. In the second set, they were down early and then struggled to pull out of it. The team fought hard, but they came up short, losing the second set 25-12. BJ Volleyball started the third set off strong.

Several players earned spots on the 7A All-State First Team honors: Riley Lovell, Meg Jarrett, and Kennedy Vaughn.

Previously, Bob Jones Volleyball had worked its way through sectionals and the semifinals without breaking much of a sweat. They swept St. Pauls in the semi-finals. They also fought hard against Auburn and pulled out the win each set.

The team ended the year 51-7. Congrats to the BJ Volleyball team and Coach Jarrett and staff for a great season!
