On 28 March 2025, Bob Jones AFJROTC hosted an all-day fundraising event at the local Teriyaki Express restaurant, Red Fish Grill. Many cadets showed up to purchase food to support the unit and the restaurant. A few cadets from the Kitty Hawk Honor Society volunteered their time to come and hold signs for the fundraiser. The fundraiser ran for the entire day, with the Kitty Hawk cadet volunteers holding signs from 1700 to 2100, showcasing their dedication to the unit. This fundraiser was held in order to raise funds for the national drill and fitness competition, and the cadets certainly did their best to meet this goal.

Kitty Hawk Honor Society Commander, Ava Zimmerman, had this to say about the event: “I am so impressed with the number of cadets that showed up to support AFJROTC for our second-to-last big fundraiser of the year. We’re gonna show out, we’re gonna support our teams and get them to nationals!” Overall, this fundraiser was really great, especially due to the diligent work of the owners of Red Fish Teriyaki Express and the cadets and families who showed up to support.
