On 7 April 2025, Bob Jones AFJROTC was visited by videographers from AlabamaCTE (Career Technical Education). All JROTC classes in the state of Alabama now fall under the Public Safety and Service cluster. This qualified the unit to be featured in the CTSO Spotlight, an annually released video highlighting the great programs for career education around the state.

This year, the unit was nominated for and selected to be featured in the spotlight video. Cadets who were in the JROTC class during the 3rd and 4th block were able to showcase their leadership skills and special teams to the videographers, as well as receive words of encouragement and inspiration from ALACTE JROTC Regional Consultant, Mr. Larry Schultz, and ALACTE Workforce Development Administrator, Mr. Craig Collins. The video is intended to be released this summer on Alabama Public Television.
