On 21 April 2025, Bob Jones Air Force Junior ROTC played games with the residents of the Floyd E “Tut” Fann State Veterans’ Home. Along with students from A&M University and The American Legion Post #229, cadets played games to further the unit’s mission of service before self. The veterans are an important but often overlooked part of our community, greatly appreciating the company and fellowship gained from events like these. C/Isaiah Simms has been the point of contact in all of these events, and has done an excellent job paving the way for cadets to serve and have fun with these veterans. The unit hopes to serve the community in the future in small and simple ways like this.
