On Tuesday, 15 April 2025, Bob Jones High School AFJROTC held its annual Spring Awards as the Spring semester came to an end. This event recognized cadets for their outstanding achievements and dedication to the Corps of Cadets. Teachers, parents, administrators, and other supporters of AFJROTC were invited to view the awards program.
Cadets were recognized for several different achievements. A few of the most honorable awards included the Superior Cadet Ribbon, an award given to cadets who plan and execute a successful fundraiser, community service project, or have outstanding performance in a position. The Outstanding Cadet Ribbon was awarded to four cadets from each grade level who exhibit dedication and excellence above their peers within the unit. The Outstanding Flight ribbon was also awarded to one flight from the Operations and Training group to highlight high inspection grades and community service hours.
Towards the end of the ceremony, a slideshow of all the graduating AFJROTC Seniors was displayed, which included the retiring Chief Clark. All of the cadets and even attending guests gave a standing ovation to Chief Clark before and after his speech. Overall, the award ceremony ran smoothly and was enjoyed by all, especially due to the efforts of the committee and other volunteers.
