On 21 April 2025, AL-20021 was visited by the Regional Director, HQ AFJROTC, Mr. David Greene, for the annual Unit Assessment. The day started with a mass formation, with cadets forming up by squadron in front of the group and wing commanders. Every cadet was then inspected on uniform wear and asked their reason for joining the unit. Next, the inspector assessed the marching capabilities of second-year cadets and the Color Guard, and then gave a talk to all cadets.
Afterward, the wing staff gave a presentation on the unit, including inspection, the health and wellness program, special teams, and unit goals, to Mr. Greene and Ms. Lambert. Then, staff were asked general questions about the instructors and overall unit functionality. In the end, the unit was given a 98.5 out of 100 on the assessment, which garnered the unit the highest rating for AFJROTC units – Exceeds Standards!
