On 11 October 2025, Bob Jones High School AFJROTC arrived at Manna House in Huntsville, AL, to volunteer and help around at Manna House.
Manna House serves the less fortunate and provides hope to families in need. They have provisions handed out on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and local churches provide music, meals, and heart-warming and hope-inducing messages. Cadets came to assist the volunteers and helped prepare food, utensils, personal hygiene packages, and even books for reading. Cadets did a great job as the facilitator of Manna House, Ms. Fluher said, “ In my 21 years, Bob Jones AFJROTC was one of the most helpful groups that had helped out.”
As stated by POC C/Hannah Barbré, “The event was an overall success, and I felt that we all had a good time helping and feeding people in less fortunate situations. The cadets displayed Core Values: Service Before Self and Excellence in All We Do, and the cadets hope to serve the community further in the future.”
