This season of Outdoor Track was successful. The track team went to Gulf Shores to compete in state. It was a wonderful experience for the team to grow and bring home a trophy. The team competed in Gulf shores for 3 full days and took a day off at the beach to relax and chill. 

Chase Fiddler is a 10th grader at Bob Jones; he was 1st in state for high jump. He also beat the record for Bob Jones Track & Field.

A.J Harris was 2nd in the state for the 100m. According to a poll of 35 students at Bob Jones ,the 100m was their favorite event.  A.J Harris tweeted, “ God got me”.

Briana Caudle is a senior at Bob Jones ; she was the 1st in state for high jump. She has improved this whole season. Briana Caudle tweeted, “Ended the track season with 10 1st place medals, many great new friends, and memories to last a lifetime… feeling thankful as ever.” She recently signed with JSU.

The boys 4×1 team got disqualified with a time of 40.9. Interested fans can see a video of it on A.J Harris’s Twitter. Brad Anderson said on A.J’s page, “It’s hard knowing we got disqualified with a time like this, but looking at how far we came eases the pain!”

Coach J tweeted, “Come out next year” as an invitation to anyone interested in getting involved for next. According to a poll of 48 students 22.9% said they would run track or participate in a field event next year.
