After a successful season, Bob Jones Varsity Baseball finished as state runner-up. This is the 2nd time in school history, the last time being in 2001. In the beginning of May, Bob Jones won against Hewitt-Trussville, clenching them a spot at the State Championships in Montgomery. At State, Bob Jones played against McGill-Toolen. After falling short on game one, Bob Jones came back victorious in round 2, winning 11-7. In game three, Bob Jones fell short once again, losing 7-6. Although it was a tough loss, the coaches couldn’t be prouder of these athletes for showing what all they are truly capable of!
