On 5 April 2025, the Bob Jones AFJROTC Raider Team went down to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to compete and eventually win the Gauntlets’ overall trophy.
Bob Jones took four teams down to compete with a total of 16 Cadets, The four teams respectively earned 1st, 3rd, 6th, and 7th. The teams had to complete a five-mile race with obstacles such as balance beams, a 50-meter mud crawl, wall hurdles, and sandbag carries. These are just a few of the obstacles the teams faced. This was the fourth annual Tuscaloosa Gauntlet and the third year that Bob Jones AFJROTC has competed in it. Despite the Gauntlet being one of the bigger challenges, the Bob Jones Raider team was still able to bring home a trophy. The team was also featured in a WHNT News article, which you can read here.
