On 15 April 2025, Bob Jones AFJROTC cadets volunteered at the 2025 Special Olympics. Around 40 cadets volunteered to assist athletes in getting to their events, set up lunch for other cadets, and break down the event afterward. The cadets had a great time with their athletes and were extremely passionate about helping them through the day. Wing Commander and volunteer, C/Kuan He said, ”The cadets showed out and put forth great effort for their athletes and the unit.” Overall, this event was great and showcased how motivated the cadets are to serve the community and nation.
