On May 7th, 2025, the Bob Jones AFJROTC Raider team held a banquet in the school cafeteria from 1600 to 1830 to celebrate and joke about their outstanding season. During the banquet, they had many laughs while presenting silly certificates to all the cadets who had been part of the team’s journey this season. The team also had nicknames for everyone, including the coaches. A fan favorite is Sticky Buns, the name given to Coach Mackrell, who earned this name by sitting in syrup at Cracker Barrel during nationals.
