Most students at Bob Jones go on a vacation at least once during the summer. They take these trips with parents, other family and friends, but what about a trip with your teacher and classmates?
Bob Jones is holding a 12 day trip to France and Spain. On this once in a lifetime trip, students will be traveling throughout Spain and France, to places like Madrid and Paris.
Students will land in the modern capital of Madrid and spend the first four days doing activities such as seeing El Greco’s painting in the Church of Santo Tome.
The next two days will be spent in the gorgeous city of Barcelona. While there you can visit Montjuïc Hill, where the 1992 Olympics took place. That will be the last day spent in Spain.
The next day, students will be in Provence, France experiencing the beautiful walled city of Carcassonne and Arles, which once was home of Vincent van Gogh.
In the morning everyone will be boarding a TGV train to go to the “City of Love.” Once in Paris students will be able to visit some of the world’s most well-known attractions such as: The Arc de Triomphe, The Louvre, Notre Dame, Versailles, and much more.
Due to the fact that the trip doesn’t have enough students signed up, this trip will more than likely be held in the summer of 2014. Madame Mooney, one of the teachers hosting the event, said, “We would love to offer the trip this year but there just wasn’t enough interest.”
Spots can be held till then and the teachers will still be taking money so students can pay for the trip over a year. This might help all of the students that are interested because they have a year and a half to pay rather than 6 months.
