A sea of red and black takes the chess board as the girls remain in sync with each other's movements.
This past Friday, the Bob Jones winter guard performed their award-winning routine “Queen’s Quarrel” for the student body.
The girls took gold at the Southeastern Color Guard Circuit (SCGC) in March, marking their very first first place win at SCGC.
One of their instructors, Leigh Thomas, explains that one of the routine’s main focuses is the marriage between chess and the tango, in which there are two parties that either work together or work against one other.
