Bob Jones High School has new foreign exchange students this year.  Every year foreign exchange student come from another part of the world to United Stated.  Each student that signs for this program are students that want to learn new language, culture and meet other people. Students who are in the exchange program have a host family that they will live with. This year Bob Jones has three new foreign exchange students. 

The ASSE asks What makes a Exchange student Different?  Student will leave their real family to come to  live with their host family, and he or she will need to show the commitment to understand other people. They focus one year of their life learning new things every day in United State.

The exchange student world said that being a Exchange Student is not easy because you need to know yourself first and have skill to communicate with other people. Student will need to find everything about the country they go to so they will need to read, and in find information  about the exchange program. Student that are in the program have a wide mind to learn because they will be experience good and bad things in the country they going to.

Ikda-Ayami said, “ I am from Japan. I came to Bob Jones High School and the only thing that I will focus on is to learn everything that I can. The food and school is different from where I am and the language because learning English is the most difficult for me. I thank my friends for helping me figure a lot of things in the school. I will have an awesome year here at Bob Jones High School.”

Another foreign exchange student, Angelica Zanlucchi, said, “ I am a junior exchange student that comes from Italy. I will be here in United States for one year to learn everything that I need to. I entered in this program because I want to experience another lifestyle other than my country. Now that I have been here four weeks I made a lot [of] friends at Bob Jones and it’s time for me to do my best and make this year the best of my life.”
