With Prom right around the corner everyone is beginning to make plans for the big night. Picture-taking is a must for the event. Some of the best places to go for your photo taking include the following: 

Big Spring Park

The beautiful scenery makes for perfect pictures. Additionally, there are several different areas that you can go to to take pictures. While Big Spring Park has the perfect scenery, many people take advantage of this, so it is typically very crowded.

Bridgestreet

Places to take pictures in Bridgestreet are slightly limited, yet the places available are very accessible and make great backgrounds for your pictures.

Downtown Huntsville

Downtown Huntsville has a multitude of beautiful architecture to capture in your photos but for the girls walking around downtown in heels and long dresses, this can be be difficult.

Your Own Yard

You don’t even have to go anywhere. Your own yard can serve as the perfect backdrop to your prom photos.  

While pictures are very important, food is just as if not even more important. The places you choose to eat are very crucial to the night but it can be difficult to swing reservations due to the fact that most restaurants fill up quickly during this season. With prom only two weeks away I would recommend making reservations soon if you haven’t already.

Dinner Reservations

If you want to be fancy, you can consider Tom Brown’s, Connor’s, Char, Cotton Row, Commerce Kitchen, Revivalist, Rhythm on Monroe, Southern Chop, Purveyor, Ruth’s Chris, Grille on Main, The Bottle, 1892, or Bravo.

If you want something more relaxed, you would not be the first to go to Waffle House or Taco Bell. You could even have friends over for dinner at your house if you wanted. 

Parking

Parking at Stovehouse won’t be too much of a problem, but parking downtown for photos or dinner might be an issue. Prepare for limited parking, possibly having to pay for parking, and possibly walking farther than you imagined to various photo locations. It might be a good idea to carpool if you’re going with friends.
