Eclectic 2025 Release

As the second semester of the 2024-2025 school year comes to an end, students excitedly anticipate this year’s edition of The Eclectic being handed out on Tuesday, May 13, during second block. This year’s lit mag staff consists of 27 students; throughout the class, editors all collaborated to bring together this collection of student works to showcase the diversity and creativity of the Bob Jones student body. This year’s theme is food, highlighting the complexity of the seemingly simple concept that brings us together.

We hope you enjoy this year’s lit mag, and look forward to many more magazines to come!

Hi! My name is Maddie, and I am a senior here! Here at Bob Jones, I am involved in different groups, including Ambassadors, National Honor Society, and National English Honor Society, and I am the Vice President of the National French Honor Society. I enjoy things like reading, creative writing, and baking! I plan on going into nursing after college, but I hope I can still find time to write in my day-to-day life!

Dani Kessler, Contributor

Hi! My name is Danielle (Dani) Kessler. I am a senior at Bob Jones High School, and this is my second year being a writer for the Patriot Pages. Some of my favorite hobbies include hanging out with friends, scrolling through social media, and working. Here at school, I am in Student Ambassadors, National Honor Society, and National Art Honor Society! Next year, I will be attending The University of Alabama and I plan on majoring in Business. In my future, though, I want to become both an entrepreneur and an orthodontic dental hygienist.

Sharon Li, Contributor

Hi, guys! I’m Sharon, and I am a sophomore. I’m a part of several clubs like HOSA and NEHS. Career-wise, I can’t choose between being a doctor or a lawyer. My interests have changed quite a bit, I enjoy sewing, collecting stickers, reading manhwa/mahua. Occasionally, I go back to anime; my favorites are Bluelock and One Piece.

Lily Shelton, Contributor

Hi! I’m Lily Shelton, a senior here at Bob Jones, and the President of Patriot Pages. I plan on attending Maryville College or Auburn University next semester, pursuing a Journalism/Writing and Communications major. In what little free time I have (outside of working at Target) I enjoy writing and playing video games. I’ve been working with Patriot Pages since my freshman year, and The Eclectic since my sophomore year — here’s to success for both this semester!

Thomas Sigler, Contributor

Hello, my name is Thomas! I’m a senior here at Bob Jones and I’ve worked on Patriot Pages all four years of my time here. Additionally, I am Student Body Vice President, Student Director of the Advanced Production Theatre class, a cross country runner, and a member of a variety of other clubs and organizations. After graduation, I will be attending The United States Military Academy at West Point, where I plan to study civil engineering.
