Sinister plots, car wrecks, and boys, Oh My! The popular teen book, Cursed, seem to have a bit of everything. Humor, suspense and every teenager girl’s favorite, romance.
The up and coming series follows high school senior Ember McWilliams, after a car wreck that gives her a firsthand experience in death. It is only thanks to her younger sister, that Ember is able to continue with her life. But the cost of her life seems to come with a price. Everything Ember touches dies.
But when Hayden Cromwell, the cute new boy at her school, appears declaring her curse is a gift, Ember doesn’t know what to do. He claims he can help control her gift, but should she trust him? Can she believe him? She would do anything to be able to hold her little sisters hand again…
Remember, things are never what they seem. Was the car wreck an accident? Can Hayden’s “stepfather” be trusted?
Kayla Rocha, a junior at Bob Jones criticizes Jennifer Armentrout’s newest novel. “There was a bit a mystery involved, but I thought the plot was very predictable”.
In contrast, Victoria Stapp, another junior in Bob Jones high school, explains. “I loved it! It had so much suspense. And the main character, Ember, is hilarious. Mrs. Armentrout is one of my favorite authors. This is a good novel for young adults and teens to read. Keeps you on your toes and involved the whole time.”

I have many interests... okay not really. All I do is read, write, and volunteer. My hopes and dreams are to attend SCAD, but I am realistic enough to accept Auburn and run with it. I hope to get a BFA with a focus in Graphic Design, and maybe dabble a bit more in writing. Don't know, I may be talking Crazy.
