According to goodreads.com, taking first place is John Green’s best seller “The Fault in our Start”. This book is about Hazel, a young girl with thyroid cancer. This book leads through Hazel’s adventures and how life is about how we live it. This is a book about life and death, about choices and understanding.
Coming in second place as of September 18th 2012 is “Gone Girl” by Gillian Flynn. This novel takes us through the story of Nick and the mysterious murder of his wife. With Nick acting suspicious and Amy his wife gone, the suspension is turned on him. But is he really the killer? This mystery thriller plays mind games and has the reader on the edge of their seat on page one.
In third place the new series by Marrisa Meyer, “Cinder”. In a world where humans and androids coexist together, a dangerous plague spreads throughout the population. A secret threat from outer space, and the fate of the world on shoulders of one girl, this novel combines action and romance to form a captivating and enchanting new series.
Finally wrapping up the top popular reads for 2012 is “Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking” by Susan Cain. Quiet is a compelling read, filled with true stories and hard research. This book explains to us the power of the introverts in our society. It argues how much we take them for granted and how we undervalue their skills and importance, and, how much we lose when we do so.
