On August 23rd, R&B singer Fantasia stopped in Huntsville, Alabama on her tour. The concert started off with with a comedic explosion with comedian D.F, setting the stage for the second act: Avant. He entertained the audience with a sing off between himself and his two backup singers, quickly stealing an hour to prep the main stage.
After a 15-minuet intermission, the main focus dominated the stage. Miss Fantasia, gracing her fans with her presence in a beautiful blue sequined dress and no shoes, addressed her viewers to do the same. “Ladies, you can still look good without the shoes.” Everybody went up into a chorus of agreement and removed their shoes.
Once she began singing, there was no choice but to stand. It was either your favorite song or the person in front of you was blocking the stage from your view. Despite people singing (screaming) directly in your ear, the crowd was a positive place to be. Even the lady in row F who had came in with a headache and had doubts about coming left with a smile on her face looking refreshed. It was a great experience and delivered its money worth.
