What keeps you grounded? Coffee, perhaps? Most people wake up in the morning wanting the perfect cup of joe and a bite to eat. If you are one of these people, try Grounded Coffee.
Located on County Line Road, Grounded Coffee has been serving the Madison community since July 1st of 2013. It is an independent business, locally owned by Chris and Katie Moore, who live in Madison.
The shop offers a wide variety of drinks, including coffee, espresso, lattes, and teas, which you can enjoy in its welcoming atmosphere. Or, if you call ahead, you can place special orders that can be shared and enjoyed at an event or meeting. Grounded Coffee also offers freshly baked goods that are made from scratch.
Casey Marley, is a barista at Grounded Coffee. “Even though we are still a relatively new business, we are really trying to make a difference in the community through [our] service. It may not be a big deal to serve someone coffee with a smile, but to me, having a service-oriented mentality while working has made my experience as a barista really rewarding,” she said.
At my first visit to Grounded Coffee, I was more than impressed. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I was greeted by a comfortable setting that contains couches to relax on and vintage art pieces and photographs on the wall to admire. The shop also offers free Wi-Fi.
I relished a scrumptious cranberry-orange muffin and a chocolate-peanut butter flavored latte that was recommended to me by an employee.
So, if you are looking for a spot to unwind and enjoy delectable beverages and treats, or if you are looking for that pick-me-up to carry you throughout the rest of your day, try Grounded Coffee! You won’t be disappointed.
