Pokémon fans worldwide are celebrating the announcement made on May 7, 2014: Pokémon Sapphire and Ruby are getting remakes! These remakes, called Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby, are scheduled to hit the shelves sometime this November. They will bring back many features and characters that had since disappeared almost completely. But now they’re back and better than ever in 3D!

Pokémon contests are returning along with the Secret Bases, now called Super Secret Bases. Horde battles from X and Y are coming to town, as well as Mega-Evolutions. So far CoroCoro, a magazine that covers Pokémon news, has leaked ten Mega-evolutions so far: Mega-Sceptile, Mega-Swampert, Mega-Diancie, Mega-Lopunny, Mega-Sableye, Mega-Salamence, Mega-Altaria, Mega-Slowbro, Mega-Metagross, and Mega-Audino.

Meanwhile, the two main legendaries, Kyogre and Goudon, are receiving Primal forms. Primal forms have only been seen in the spin-off game Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, Darkness, and Time.

CoroCoro has also revealed the Cosplay Pikachu, a female Pikachu with a black heart on her tail. This Pikachu is for Pokémon Contests and will wear something different for each type of contest entered. She will also receive a special move to use in the contests. For Cool Contests, she will dress up as a Rock Star and will know the move Meteor Mash. In Smart Contests, she will know Electric Terrain and will be dressed up as a Ph.D. She will dress as a Pop Star in Cute Contests, fluent in the Draining Kiss.

Pikachu Belle, which looks like an aristocrat, gets Icicle Crash in the Beauty Contests while Pikachu Libre, which looks like a wrestler, gets Flying Press in the Tough Contests.
