Have you honored David Bowie since his death? Whether the answer is yes or no, you can do more. We both know it. You can attend the “David Bowie Night” at Lowe Mill, which is held on Saturday, January 23rd at 8:00 p.m.

Nearly 70 years ago, a widely adored, musical and performing arts inspiration came into the world. His name was David Bowie. He inspired millions of people in his lifetime and will keep inspiring lovers of the arts for years to come.

Lowe Mill will have several interactive exhibits set up: All-Bowie Karaoke, Bowie make-up stations, a pop-up David Bowie art exhibition, and a big collaborative painting. Along with these fun exhibits, they will have a Bowie DJ set, thanks to Vertical House Records.

This is Huntsville-Madison area’s biggest celebration of David Bowie.  This past weekend, members of the band Arcade Fire and a jazz ensemble paraded through the streets of New Orleans.  Citizens around the globe have expressed an outpouring of their appreciation for Bowie’s contributions.

Since his death and for the first time ever, Bowie reached #1 on the U.S. music charts with his album Blackstar.

Maybe you have sung along with the lyrics to “Space Oddity” or watched Labyrinth more times than you can count.  Maybe you’ve even mastered Ziggy Stardust eye make-up.  Maybe you’ve already listened to his new album on repeat.  No matter your particular level of fandom, you can enjoy an evening at Lowe Mill as local citizens join in the global celebration of a life well lived.
