The new coffee shop, Creme Brew Lait, opened on January 3, 2023. The uniquely named coffee shop is located on the corner of Gillespie Road and Wall Triana Hwy across from the Exxon gas station. In the short time it has been open, they have great reviews and have been highly recommended by several of the reviewers. 

Creme Brew Lait is run by the CEO, Joel, Assistant Manager, Alexi, and Marketing Manager, Sommer. Their mission is to “bring old world charm to your personalized coffee experience and flavor of coffee through 1.) quality ingredients, 2.) advanced technology, and 3.) deliberate processes.” The story of Creme Brew Lait started when Joel took inspiration from coffee shops in Alaska where there were lots of uniquely named coffee shops. Creme Bew Lait was born in December of 2021 when the owners had been trying to find a unique name for their coffee shop. The name Creme Brew Lait came up because one night, they had the french dessert Creme Brulee and the name stuck. 

The drive-thru coffee shop offers a variety of coffee drinks including americanos, lattes, cold brews, macchiatos, cappuccinos, and many more. They can provide drinks for those who don’t drink coffee like smoothies, chai, matcha, and more. They offer a specialty drink called the cremebrewlait latte that resembles the actual dessert creme brulee. Another unique aspect about Creme Brew Lait is that all of their coffee drinks are served with a chocolate covered espresso bean. 

This is the perfect place to go either before school for your morning coffee or an after school pick me up. According to Bob Jones student Katie Dougherty, “The service was great, the workers were very nice. The coffee came with a chocolate covered espresso bean. The frap also was flavorful and tasty. The hot chocolate was not too bad but the whipped cream was the best part.” According to another Bob Jones student Sage Littenberg, “The service was amazing and the coffee was made quickly. I also loved the chocolate covered espresso bean that you get with your drink.” 

Creme Brew Lait is a great choice for whenever you want a quick and delicious coffee or beverage. It is perfect for those who don’t want to interact with lots of people or don’t like a very social setting. Try out Creme Brew Lait today and enjoy!
