Pumpkin Spice! We love it, right? This topic tends to vary based on who and where you ask. So I have decided to see what Bob Jones High School had to say about it. Let’s see if Bob Jones likes Pumpkin Spice or hates it.
But first, a bit of history about the Pumpkin Spice Latte. The Pumpkin Spice Latte came to be in 2003 by a few employees who worked at a Starbucks. They were just messing around with a slice of Pumpkin Pie and shots of Espresso. “Literally, we took some espresso, just poured it on the pumpkin pie, and then tasted it,” said Peter Dukes, one of the co-creators of the Pumpkin Spice Latte. “If you asked anybody in that room if pumpkin spice was going to become an entire industry … nobody would have guessed that,” Duke told. And now Pumpkin Spice has become a household name and is one of the most well-known drinks at Starbucks.
What did Bob Jones think about Pumpkin Spice? Well, the answers varied, but most people dislike it or think it’s pretty in the middle.
For example:
Over 40% of people don’t like Pumpkin Spice. And those who liked it? When asked what they liked about it, they mainly liked the warmth and spices of the Pumpkin Spice. Some like the fact that it’s spicy. Others like the cold foam on top. A hint of people like the cinnamon on top. Some people tend to like it for the aesthetics. Then a huge percentage just haven’t tried it yet.
But then, they were asked one more question… “Would you care if Pumpkin Spice never came back in 2024?” and over 50% of people said that they would not care if it came back.
But all and all, we can see Pumpkin Spice is a thing, but is it a REAL thing or just marketing? So the true question is… Do you like Pumpkin Spice?
