Have you seen the Wingstop by Publix? It’s the talk of the town for wing lovers! Well, we’ve got you covered, Patriot Pages is here to help.
Have you wondered what the most popular flavor is? What is the best side? Is it good? Is the customer service good? Is it overrated or underrated? Well, we made a poll to find out!
Our favorite flavors from Wingstop are garlic parmesan, cajun, and lemon pepper, but do the survey takers agree?
Unfortunately for us, most survey takers have never been to the Wingstop by Publix, and some even did not know it existed. It seems like Wingstop is only popular with the locals. It is still very popular, but is it worth it, and is it any good?
Yes, it absolutely is!
It can be a bit pricey. The service is great; the person who took our order was extremely kind and patient. While it was a bit slow for our food, it can be attributed to the fact that they just opened a few weeks ago. Nathan Gagne stated, “It was slow with great service and mediocre wings.”
Now, finally, what is the best wing flavor and what is the best side? Well… for the wing flavor, there is a tie between lemon pepper and garlic parmesan. There is a limited-time flavor called Maple Sriracha that some of our votes have tried it and enjoyed. Unfortunately for Hawaiian and plain, they are dead last. The plain flavor is more for chicken tenders. Wingstop has other options other than wings like tender and chicken sandwiches.
For sides, there was a clear vote on which side item is the best, seasoned fries. Also, other voters choose fries but with a twist, choosing cheese fries, Louisiana voodoo fries, and buffalo ranch fries. The one in the middle is Cajun Fried corn also got several votes. Coming in dead last is the veggie sticks, which quite frankly, it was obvious. Some people get the veggie sticks to balance out the wings and other items, but I guess our poll takers don’t really do that. I wouldn’t either.
In the end, is Wingstop overrated or are there better places for chicken wings? The overwhelming majority of people said no, while a few said it was overrated. One of the survey takers, Kamiya Scott, stated, “No, it’s a good place to get wings.” Lydia Martin is a Wingstop lover. Her experience at Wingstop was “like heaven,” Lydia stated. It is also “really close to her house.” On the other hand, Jack Culver said, “Yes, I believe it’s overrated. Wingstop is good, but there are better places that sell chicken wings with fries.”
My favorite order is a small 6-piece wing combo flavor lemon pepper with a side of fries and Cajun corn with ranch, and a larger HIC fruit punch. Wingstop is one of my favorite places to get wings.
