The House at the End of the Street, directed by Mark Tonderai, was a satisfactory scary movie. Although, the beginning of the movie left me confused and the end didn’t really answer some of my questions. Elissa, Jennifer Lawrence, and her mother, Elisabeth Shue, move to a new town into a rental home. They soon find out their house is across the street from a home where two parents were murdered.
The son, played by Max Theiriot, still lives in the house. Elissa befriends him and convinces her mother that he isn’t a bad person. Soon, Elissa notices some weird behavior going from him and things aren’t what they seem.
The movie was suspenseful and it was entertaining to watch. It made sense and kept me wondering what the next scene was going to be. Lawrence and Thieriot played their parts very well, definitely the perfect cast for this film. For PG-13, the directors did a good job and I would recommend people to seeing this.
