If you’re searching for a film for your kids to enjoy, then try out Despicable Me 2 from Universal Pictures. Adventure, comedy, and a dash of romance, this animated sequel will have your kids on the edge of their seat laughing until it hurts.
It was described by Neil Pond of Rotten Tomatoes as “…a comical mash of cartoonish imagination and surreal detail that’s just right for the mix of hyperkinetic humor and sentimental charm.” It all simmers down to an animated summer hit!
Join the reluctant former super villain Gru and his enthusiastic partner Lucy Wilde as they go undercover as bakery owners to uncover which evil villain has stolen the powerful mutagen known as PX-41. They better work fast and keep their mind focused, because more of Gru’s minions seem to be disappearing every day.
Of course, not everyone has something good to say. Ken Hanke, another movie reviewer from Rotten Tomatoes, had this to write: “It’s not that the movie is unlikable. It’s that it feels like a trip through a random checklist of things that played well in the first film.”
