“Welcome to Moe’s!” was the enthusiastic greeting I received upon entering said restaurant. I flashed a quick smile in response to the workers and quickly shuffled in line, accompanied by my father. I looked to my left to see a rather large menu mounted on the wall, with a variety of choices, like the Homewrecker, one of their burritos, and the John Coctosan, a quesadilla. I set my sights on a Homewrecker Jr. and continued on through the line. I reached the counter, and laid out ahead was a buffet similar to that of Subway.
The woman starting off my meal gave me her sales pitch; you know, the Homewrecker was $5 as opposed to its usual $7.25, making it cheaper than the Homewrecker Jr.; it was obvious what my choice was. My dad and I made our way down the counter, building our burrito and two tacos until finally we made it to the end, paid, and left. I honestly could not wait to start eating, and I was not disappointed when I took that first bite.
Moe’s Southwestern Grill, which is off of Highway 72 in the Target shopping center, was recently opened on July 11th and has attracted quite a crowd. There’s certainly no mystery why. Using only the freshest, most natural ingredients, Moe’s helps to build the food of a guest’s choosing. The wait is usually short, allowing you to quickly get food either to eat there or take out to go.
The workers are friendly, making it easy to talk to them and convey your southwestern food wants. The food is pretty good; it’ll more than likely place Moe’s on your list of favorite places to eat out. Overall, my experience at Moe’s was wonderful; I’ll definitely be returning again for more Homewreckers soon. Wanting to express my joy with another human being, I quickly texted my friend Hanna Hammons, who is a junior here at Bob Jones. She had this to say when I asked her about her thoughts on Moe’s: “[It’s got] a relaxing environment where you can choose a wide variety of food to combine together in a tortilla. The flavors you eat are unique and satisfying. It can easily be your new favorite eatery.”
