Horror film aficionados in Madison now have an opportunity to support student filmmakers. Bob Jones’ sister school, James Clemens, is holding its first ever “October Project,” a student led horror movie festival, on October 26th at 7:00 pm.
The festival will consist of short horror films created by James Clemens’ Film and Design class students that will celebrate “fear, tension, and the dark side of life,” according to the Jets Press.
Keegan Haanschoten, a former Patriot participating in the event, is excited to reveal his short horror film he mysteriously describes as “taking place in the 1970’s, involving teenagers and an Ouija board.”
The festival will be located at the James Clemens auditorium and is rated PG-13. Those under 8th grade will not be permitted into the event. Tickets are $5 for students and $8 for non-students.
