On April 19, James Clemens High School will host the LAUNCH talent show in its auditorium. The show is open to talents of all ages, from 6^th grade to 12^th grade, and all types of talent.

In the past, there has been everything from flag twirling to heavy metal bands.

“I’m bummed that we won’t be able to play this, but I’ll definitely play there,” said Evan McDowell, guitarist of local punk outfit Give In, “There’s definitely going to be something for everyone there.”

MoJo from 104.3 WZYP will be hosting the show; Madison’s mayor, Troy Trulock, Vinnie Blandon from WHNT, and Toni Torrell of 94.1 FM. Al, will be judging. Although there are separate categories for middle school and high school students, and several smaller prizes, the grand prize is $500 and will go to the talent chosen by the judges.
