Dedicated gamers around the world are looking forward to getting their hands on the PlayStation 4 (PS4), which came out on November 15th.
Kameron Sauter, a student at Bob Jones, prefers the Xbox One to the PS4, simply because he likes to receive game content earlier rather than later. Usually, Xbox game content is released before PlayStation game content. Kameron explains, “I will get the Xbox One because it is [what] all my friends plan on [buying]. All of the downloadable content comes out before the PlayStation’s content. I also just think that the Xbox One will turn out to be the better system for my preferences.”
Sean Schubert, a senior at Bob Jones, will buy a PS4. He explains, “The PS4 is $100 cheaper, and I don’t have to pay for the online experience. Honestly, I have played the PlayStation my whole life. And, that is what my friends play.”
“I do not want the PS4, because I will be playing the Xbox One when it comes out, simply because I feel that Xbox has a better gaming experience overall,” says Nathan Moore, another Bob Jones student. “I just feel like the only advantage the PlayStation 4 has is its free online gaming experience,” Nathan adds.
The PS4 has had great success within its first 24 hours of release, selling over 1 million systems! Because of its commercial success, PS4 systems have been out of stock everywhere for a few days.
The PS4 has been a great success early on, and people everywhere are eager to get their hands on one as soon as possible.
