The Arts Council of Huntsville strives to preserve the arts in our community and Panoply is one the main programs used to keep their mission alive. This is Panoply’s 32th year being brought to life April 25th through the 27th. Artists, musicians, dancers, and performers alike are gathering at Huntsville’s annual arts festival and you can get in to see it all for $7.25 – if bought online – or $10 at the gate.
Panoply isn’t going to pull a repeat from last year with the same old, same old. This year, Panoply is featuring more science-related fun for all ages along with beer and wine tasting for the adults. There are multiple venues constructed for this festival in order to allow guests to experience local and international events in a single area. The World Discovery Zone is where crafts and performances will represent cultures globally; however, other stages like the Showcase Stage presents acts from around Huntsville.
Local groups, like Microwave Dave and The Mambo Gris Gris, all participate to create outside fun with arts and crafts, along with a variety of shows. Every year people wonder how they can get involved in their community whether performing their talent or just volunteering and Panoply offers many opportunities. At their official site, anyone can sign up for shifts running the different stations, or sign up for the Homegrown Talent Contest. Schedules can be found there as well.
Whether you take interest in music, art, or food, come see Huntsville like you’ve never seen it before.
