The Best Dadgum Principal

Mr. Parker was named the Alabama PTA Principal of the Year. Patriot Pages asked students what really makes him worthy of this award.
Junior Andrew Loo said, “Whenever there’s storming or other hazards around Madison, he always opens up the school for his students to have a safe place to stay.”
Junior Alan Gremillion recalled previous years in which Mr. Parker invited everybody over to his house for Thanksgiving in case they had no where to go.
“He is always very open with his students,” said junior Alyssa Kennedy. “Whenever a student or a teacher is going through hard times, he’ll stop to pray with them until things get better.”
Even Bob Jones senior Cyrus Patel complimented Mr. Parker on his announcements. “It is always entertaining when he gets on the intercom. He doesn’t just tell you what’s going on but makes it enjoyable and interesting to listen to. Plus, it’s really nice how he always recognizes different students on their recent accomplishments.”
It’s no wonder that Mr. Parker won this award; Bob Jones is truly lucky to have such a great principal.
