The new year brought a range of changes from Patriot Path becoming Academic Flex to our new assistant principal. Allow me to introduce Mr. Keynan Jackson, a new member of the Bob Jones admin staff.
According to the Madison County Virtual Academy website, Mr. Jackson was born and raised in Alabaster, Alabama. Jackson obtained a bachelor’s from the University of North Alabama in 2013, and soon after acquired his Master’s in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation from the University of South Alabama in 2015. In addition to these accomplishments, Jackson earned his Master’s in Collaborative Special Education: 6-12 in 2021 and Instructional Leadership certification in 2023 from the University of West Alabama. Throughout his career in education, he has worked as a behavioral interventionist with intentions to lead and “value positive relationships as [he aims] to encourage students and colleagues to strive for success.”
Dr. Hanks, another assistant administrator, described Mr. Jackson as “relatable, calm, and hard-working.”
Additionally, Dr. Hanks believes Mr. Jackson “will aim to understand BJHS’s culture by forming beneficial relationships with students and teachers to best support them.”
Be sure to say hello and make him feel welcome!
