Bob Jones Spanish students competed in the state Spanish Convention  on Friday, March 14, and received five 1st place awards:

• Brody DeSilva: Bilingual Literary Recitation and Original T-shirt Design
• Amanda Darnell: Level 4 Vocabulary
• Megan Carter: Level 3 Verbs
• Scrapbook Cover

They received five 2nd place awards:

• Beka Hicks: Bilingual Literary Recitation
• Crystal Ganatra: 2D Art
• Will Jackson: Level 4 Verbs
• Mugdha Mokashi: Level 4 Literary Recitation
• Ashely Pursifull: Poster

They also received one 3rd place and two 4th place awards.

Lauryn Rody placed 4th in Native Poetry Recitation as the only non-native speaker.
