The 2014-15 SGA campaign posters are scattered throughout the hallways of Bob Jones. The SGA Executive Board members organize multiple events throughout the school year. Candidates will actually make their campaign speeches in the auditorium on Tuesday, which differs from recent years that relied on video speeches.
“Some homerooms couldn’t see the videos for various reasons or didn’t have time to watch the all videos during homeroom,” said multimedia teacher Mrs. Panagos. “This will ensure that everyone has a chance to speak to the student body, and hopefully, the student body can make informed decisions.”
Students will cast their votes on their phones immediately after the speeches using SurveyMonkey. If students don’t have the technology to vote or if they’re absent, they can vote in Mrs. Flannigan’s or Mrs. Van Dam’s rooms.
