Tinsel Trail: More Than a Pretty Tree

Reece Stewart and Rachel Pennell

The BJ Christmas Tree Tinsel Trail is a great way of advertising the clubs, organizations, and sports teams at our school. It is a way for the clubs to not only have fun decorating a tree but also advertise ways that you can support their causes.

One tree was decorated by Ambassadors. Mrs.Huskey, the advisor said, “They had about 22 members contributing to this tree. President Bryson Tessenner along with Co-Vice Presidents Jillian Pennell and Leah Lessman played a big role in helping with the tree.”

Organizations like Patriot Paws would greatly benefit from donations. Any amount of monetary donation would be greatly appreciated. Mrs. Coker advises Patriot Paws, which is an organization that makes donations or helps out at the close animal shelters. The following items are items that you could donate that would help the animals, especially during these times. You can leave these donations in N217 or leave them at the front office for Mrs. Coker:

Bleach for cleaning

Dog food

Dog toys

Canned cat food

Cat toys

Many other clubs participated in the Tinsel Trail. These clubs consist of Ambassadors, Art Club, English Honors Society, ESL, Health Science Interns, JROTC, Junior SGA, Math, Patriot Paws, Science, Soccer, United Way, and Yearbook.
