After hearing Mrs. Mary-Katherine Maguire say that she wished she got a promposal, sophomore students Robyn Pope , Kate Ramey, and Reagan Burgess decided to do just that. The three girls made a sign saying “Be my Date to PROM?” (PROM being spelled using elements) and told Mr. James Maguire to ask out his wife.

Mr. Maguire reluctantly agreed and went to go visit his wife. “Since Mrs. Maguire and I chaperoned Homecoming together, we weren’t planning on attending prom this year, but earlier this week she agreed to cover for a colleague,” said Mr. Maguire. “Some of my students got excited at the idea of a prom-posal that I decided to humor them.”

Careful not to disrupt too much of their classes, Mr. Maguire set off to ask Mrs. Maguire to prom. Luckily for him, she said yes! Though he does not want to go to prom, Mr. Maguire will make a brief appearance since he did promise Mrs. Maguire.
