May 1 is National College Decision Day for 2022! This is when upcoming first-year college students formally decide what university they will attend. Traditionally, it falls on the 1st day of May, but we recognized it at Bob Jones today. 

Many universities require their applicants to pay a deposit and accept any scholarships they might have been offered. Oftentimes students have to choose between multiple colleges, hence Decision Day. 

87% of Bob Jones students plan on attending college after they graduate. According to a survey, a majority of seniors are going to Auburn with Alabama as a close second. A lot of seniors plan to stay in-state or local, but we do have students attending schools across the country.

Bob Jones students celebrated their decisions by wearing their college shirts, but students who have decided to enter the military or the workforce were also encouraged to participate. Students gathered for photos and cake in the courtard. Congratulations to all seniors and good luck on your future endeavors!
