After the BJHS vs JCHS Football game this past Friday, the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) cadets showcased their commitment to community service by volunteering to help clean up the stadium. Despite the stadium’s size and the considerable mess left behind, the cadets efficiently completed the task in just over an hour. Cadets were given garbage bags and sent off to clean the stadium row by row. It was hard work, but they persevered through and eventually cleared all of the seating and concession areas.
Their dedication didn’t stop there. The cadets then conducted two full sweeps of the field itself, making sure the field was spotless for the next game. Finally, to round off the night, they did two full sweeps of the parking lot outside, just to make sure they got everything.
In the end, though it was hard work, the Cadets of the AFJROTC picked the stadium spotless, so that the next game can be even better than this one!
